Handprints @ Rutgers Presbyterian Church

Wow!  This is the best art class ever.  Kids get really messy and do all the projects you wouldn’t dare let them do at home – finger painting, sponging, gluing, painting at easels, etc.  Cindy is amazing and her weekly projects are not only fun but look terrific, definitely worthy of displaying around the house.  Projects range from holiday themes to sun catchers, flower pots and stuffed paper hearts to display.  The classroom also has a Lego section, puzzle section, drawing wall and playdough station with a fresh batch of sparkly playdough each week (ask for the recipe to make your own at home).  Cindy finds a way to engage each child whatever their level or interests.  A focused one year old can definitely have fun in the class, and family art with mixed ages is a treat for siblings.

One warning – wear a smock!
